Hmmmm. Really, to me I think it’s how the society view it. Common, there are most polytechnic students who graduated with best result and end up earning peanut just cos of that stigma attached to his certificate later he or she starts looking for a way to upgrade his degree I think if the school authority should come together and decide to upgrade it to that level ( since its almost the same curriculum each offers) people or rather organizations will stop its discrimination especially government parastatals. With the right set of schoolers having the same aims there will come a time where all this will be corrected and if not that country will be stagnant and change impossible to imploy.

Hey, Ahjerryboy1, in my view, I think polytechnic students themselves are the course of the discrimination. They usually work as if though their degree is a stepping stone for them to get into the University. They often do not see their degree as something to work with, instead, they go for a university degree after their national diploma obtained from a Polytechnic. So, that makes most of them look inferior to their university students counterpart.
